SDM’s Sam Johnson and Kennon Wooten will be featured speakers at the upcoming State Bar Advanced Civil Trial Course on July 13-15 in San Antonio.  Sam will address issues relating to legal ethics and professional responsibility.  Kennon will address dismissal procedures under Texas Rule of Civil Procedure 91a, including how Texas courts have handled cases involving Rule 91a and the extent to which federal dismissal standards have crept into Texas jurisprudence.  The three day 39th Annual Advanced Civil Trial Course will cover various civil litigation topics such as pre-trial evidence issues, spoliation of evidence and summary judgment practice.  Additional information about the course, including registration information, can be found here.
