SD&M has been hired to protect Texas voters impacted by the Texas Legislature’s congressional redistricting plan. SD&M, in partnership with lawyer Renea Hicks, has filed a lawsuit to take on, in part, the questionable fracturing of Travis County’s congressional districts. The lawsuit is Eddie Rodriguez, et al. v. Rick Perry, in his official capacity as Governor of the State of Texas, et al., filed in the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, Austin Division.
