Tomas Castella focuses his practice on complex civil litigation and government investigations. He has represented individuals and companies in investigations and a wide range of civil suits in state and federal courts across the country. His clients have spanned the technology, entertainment, transportation, and biotechnology industries. A dual citizen of the United States and Mexico, Tomas is a fluent Spanish speaker and has handled several matters focused on Latin America.

Tomas received his J.D. with honors from the University of Texas School of Law and a dual B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Boston College. While at the University of Texas, he served on the executive board of the Texas Law Review.

Tomas began his legal career as a clerk for Judge David A. Ezra of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas and Judge Edward C. Prado of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Prior to joining Scott Douglass & McConnico, Tomas spent seven years as an associate with Williams & Connolly in Washington D.C.
