AUSTIN - Six SD&M lawyers were named 2012 "Rising Stars," a Thomson Reuters business, by Texas Monthly magazine, an honor bestowed on no more than 2.5 percent of Texas attorneys.

The "Rising Stars" list recognizes the state's top up-and-coming lawyers who are age 40 and under or who have been practicing law 10 years or less. "Rising Stars" are nominated by their peers.
