Robby joined Scott Douglass & McConnico after clerking for Judge Alan D. Albright of the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas.

Obtained unanimous jury verdict of willful patent infringement on behalf of electric motorcycle manufacturer in patent infringement action involving design patents for the company’s flagship product. (Western District of Texas, Austin Division, January 2026)
Obtained complete defense jury verdict on behalf of officers and owners of a hospital system in $92 million lawsuit alleging breach of fiduciary duty and fraudulent transfers. (Western District of Texas, Waco Division, 2023)
Represented microtransit and virtual bus stop technology company in patent infringement action. Following a jury trial before Judge Alan D. Albright, the jury returned a unanimous verdict of infringement and the court ruled the patents were not invalid as a matter of law. The plaintiff also prevailed against the defendant’s counterclaims. (Western District of Texas, Waco Division, January 2025)
Represented plaintiff in patent infringement action involving computer bus technology patents asserted against a multinational computer manufacturer. The jury found infringement and awarded the plaintiff nearly $18 million in damages. (Western District of Texas, Waco Division, March 2024)
Represents plaintiffs and defendants in patent infringement lawsuits pending in the Western District of Texas, including cases involving consumer electronics, computer networking, wireless and broadband communications, semiconductor technology, software, and social networking services.
