John Ellis elected to Executive Board of the Boy Scouts Capitol Area Council
John Ellis was elected to the 2019 Executive Board for the Boy Scouts of America Capitol Area Council. John is an Eagle Scout, Vigil Honor member of the Order of the Arrow, former Assistant Scoutmaster, and he hopes to add Scout parent to his role as his own young children become eligible to join.
The Capitol Area Council supports Scouting programs for more than 21,000 registered youth members across 15 Central Texas Counties. The BSA vision is to equip youth in America—both boys and girls—to become responsible, participating citizens and leaders who are guided by the Scout Oath and Law.
