Cheryl Joseph LaFond
Cheryl represents plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of complex litigation, with an emphasis on commercial litigation, professional malpractice defense, energy-related disputes, and oil and gas matters. Prior to joining the Firm in August 2016, Cheryl practiced at Williams & Connolly LLP in Washington, DC. At Williams & Connolly, Cheryl represented individuals and companies in complex commercial litigation, including securities litigation and bankruptcy litigation, as well as in government investigations.
After graduating from Stanford Law School, where she served as the Executive Editor of the Stanford Law Review, Cheryl served as a law clerk to the Honorable Patrick Higginbotham of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
